For the first time ever, NGF trained responders to man our INFORMATION AND CRISIS INTERVENTION CENTER (ICIC). These responders will handle our 24/7 crisis hotline dedicated to de-escalating crisis situations.
And we had the best training team possible for this exciting endeavor! The authors of the manual and handbook lectured on Depression, Suicide, Crisis Counseling and Treatment of Depression. We were also joined by 3 psychiatrists from Medical City!
For 4 whole days, our responders were trained on how to effectively handle your calls!
